PJ’s Bar & Grill is a captivating rooftop bar and grill located atop the Le Meridien Petaling Jaya Paradigm, offering a unique blend of relaxed dining and breathtaking panoramic views of Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, and the iconic KLCC skyline. As a bar & grill, this venue draws guests not only with its unrivaled vistas but also with a diverse menu that perfectly complements the setting.
Upon arrival, the first thing that strikes you is the open-air ambiance, flooded with natural light toward the evening while basking in the gentle breeze that makes outdoor dining a delight. As one guest, Aravind Ramachandran, noted, the transition from golden daylight to twinkling night lights over KLCC sets an unforgettable backdrop that elevates every visit.
The menu at PJ’s Bar & Grill presents a solid offering of starters and hearty mains, featuring fresh seafood selections such as beautifully prepared cod and salmon, alongside pasta dishes and grilled meats like their standout herb-crusted lamb rack. Although some diners mention that the cooking favors a slightly cautious approach—such as sous vide methods that might tone down bold flavors—the freshness and quality of ingredients remain consistently commendable.
Visitors who appreciate a good drink will find solace in the well-curated range of beer on tap, impressive happy hour deals, and a cocktail list that, while not revolutionary, offers refreshing and enjoyable concoctions. Carol Lam’s experience celebrating a birthday weekend BBQ buffet was enhanced by the lively band and a convivial atmosphere, perfectly suited for both casual evenings and special occasions.
The staff, epitomized by attentive individuals like Naim, ensure that service complements the relaxed yet stylish environment, enhancing the overall dining experience.
Beyond the food and drink, the true gem of PJ’s Bar & Grill lies in its setting. Brandon Cheong remarked on the premium experience of admiring KL’s skyline through personal binoculars—a thoughtful touch highlighting the establishment’s commitment to providing guests with memorable moments. Arriving before sunset, as recommended by several patrons, allows you to witness the magical transformation of the cityscape from day to night, a spectacle that lingers long after the last sip.
Whether you are seeking a vibrant weekend gathering spot, a romantic evening out, or a casual place to unwind while enjoying scenic views and flavorful bites, PJ’s Bar & Grill encapsulates the best of rooftop leisure in Petaling Jaya. It invites you to savor each moment—flavored by good food, fine drinks, and the ever-changing city panorama.

A grey roof top restaurant cum bar on Le Meridian hotel. The views were simply amazing with clear sky opening with sunlight towards the end of the day. Overlooking the KLCC from far away was amazing both with light and after dark. The place had very good starter options and good beer on the tap. They do some cocktails not the greatest but ok. The food quality and taste overalls acceptable. You can just come for the views and ambience for sure.

Celebrated my son's birthday and indulge in weekend BBQ Buffet and also order some ala carte dishes. The band was on fire, food was great and love the night sky view.

Overall food was average with better cocktails compared to food. Mostly were here for the view; offers unobstructed view of KL and PJ while you sip your favourite concoction. It would make a pleasant evening.

Wow fantastic food (we ordered a mix of seafood (salmon),2 types of Sphagetti, grilled chicken), happy hour beer (5 glasses for RM105) and an excellent 360-degree view of Petaling Jaya and Shah Alam. TIP Come to this roof top bar just before sunset so as to view during day time and after sun set you will be rewarded by night view

Wine dinner in collaboration with AsiaEuro. Lovely ambience, nicely setup. Food portion is generous, checkout the herb crusted lamb rack, yumz. Paired well with the selection of wine. Only comment is the cooking method is a bit too safe, meat dishes mainly sous vide. Should sear them to have some browning to add flavor. Also, most dishes a bit under seasoned. But overall still a pleasant evening. Rm234 a pax for 5 course meal with wine pairing. Really value for money.

Intentionally visited the rooftop to catch a glimpse of KL’s skyline through my own personal binoculars; great spot for stunning views and backdrops; admission is free excluding the reasonably priced parking ticket
